Somehow, it just has all the film-evocative elements for them, and escaping the siege with Ackbar makes heroes and roleplayers out of otherwise-wallflower charactersAndrew Gilbertsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10604304361825660940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8691226717378144247.post-70694987636782775232009-02-18T21:47:00.000-08:002009-02-18T21:47:00.000-08:00I think there are definitely times when it's good ...I think there are definitely times when it's good to have an adventure like this. They don't all have to be deep mystery types of plots. Obviously you don't want every adventure to be all action, but there is something to be said for occasionally having an adventure where the characters get to dust off the heavy gear: Strap on the heavy blast armor, sling up the light repeaters, and just cut loose on some bad guys who need killin'. Invariably, most gaming groups have those who are interested in the deep plots and those who are just there to kill stuff. My personal taste is for some of each. I think it's a good idea to mix it up every so often. An adventure like this even keeps the thinkers and plotters on their toes.Steve ( The other one )https://www.blogger.com/profile/14283173395913676410noreply@blogger.com
